At St Margaret's we recognise that each child is unique and individual. We aim to support, challenge and encourage all children to enable them to flourish and shine and be prepared for life beyond St Margaret's.
We achieve this through quality first teaching from the staff across the school. The majority of children will learn and progress within these arrangements. Some children may need specific interventions to help them overcome barriers to learning. These may be physical, emotional, social, behavioural or academic.
Those children whose overall attainments and achievement in specific subjects fall significantly outside the expected range may have Special Educational Needs (SEN).
For children who have a specific learning difficulty or a disability, our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) policy outlines the educational support we provide – this is often referred to as our ‘School Offer’, detailed below. This provision runs alongside our Local Offer - see below.
Our inclusion manager is Mrs A Leonard who can be contacted via the school office.
